I saw these wraps shared on social media so I had to give them a try. They only contain oats and spinach with a pinch of salt and cooked in the pan with a little oil. I was surprised how good they tasted.
These wraps can be combined with your favourite fillings for a healthy meal option, although I enjoyed eating the first batch I made on their own.
Ingredients for these Wraps:
You shouldn’t need a pen and paper for this list of ingredients:
- Oats
- Spinach
- A little salt
- A little oil
Making These Oat and Spinach Wraps
These wraps are really simple to make and the main essential kitchen item you need is a blender such as a Ninja.
First take the oats and blend them for about 20 seconds until they are blended into an oat flour.
Then remove the oats from the blender and add 50g of spinach along with 200ml of water. Blend until the spinach is fully blended and you are left with a green liquid.
Add back the oat flour and blend until you have a smooth mixture. Leave for a minute or two to thicken while you prepare the pan.
Add a little oil to a pan on the hob on a medium/high heat. I think the best option is using a low calorie oil spray to spray a light mist onto the pan. Alternatively you can use a little oil from a bottle.
Once the pan is hot, add a little of the mixture and spread it over the pan by tilting the pan at different angles. Cook for around 4-5 minutes on each side.
Repeat until the mixture is used up.
Fill with your favourite wrap fillings and enjoy.

Making the Wraps Gluten Free
I thought these wraps might be inferior since they did not contain flour and was surprised how good the texture is. They hold together really well and have a nice texture to taste.
If you want to make these wraps fully gluten free, choose a gluten free oat option. Pure oats are typically gluten free but oats may contain small amounts of gluten through cross contamination.
