Coffee Banana and Oat Smoothie

This is a delicious creamy smoothie made with coffee, banana, oat milk and oats. Perfect as a pre gym pick me up.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender A high powered blender such as a Vitamix is great for this

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana
  • 250 ml oat milk
  • 2 dates (pitted)
  • 1 shot espresso
  • 2 ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Make a shot of coffee in a cup either by using a coffee machine, a Nespresso machine, or by mixing instant coffee with 50 ml of boiling water.
  • Cool the coffee in the cup by adding the cup into a container with cold water.
  • Add a banana, two ice cubes, a banana, 2 pitted dates and the coffee to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and serve in a glass.
