Cashew Cream

A simple cashew cream you can make in minutes as a plant based alternative to dairy cream.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cashews (150g)
  • 3/4 cup water (3/4 cup)

Method
 

  1. Soak the cashew nuts submerged in hot water for at least 30 minutes or in cold water for at least an hour
  2. Drain and rinse the cashew nuts
  3. Place in a blender along with fresh water
  4. Blend for at least 30 seconds, then check the consistency. If there are still little bits of cashew remaining, blend for another 30 seconds
